Support the Society.

Please support the Society in its endeavors, for the mutual benefit of all.

1. Subscribe.

If you have not already done so, please subscribe to the Proceedings as a “podcast” to ensure you receive each issue upon publication.

2. Promote/Share.

Please inform your friends, “social-media” cohorts, and other like-minded individuals of the Society’s efforts. Consider directing people to the Society’s website, www.sisyphiansociety.org, or to any particular issue of the Proceedings.

3. Rate and Review.

A. On Apple Podcasts.

Although the Society has called for a boycott of Apple Podcasts/iTunes (see Vol. I, No. 3), the Society does implore listeners to temporarily utilize those applications to rate and review the podcast. The more (positive) ratings and reviews, the more likely Apple is to recommend the podcast to others.

Because the Society takes peer review seriously, your review will likely be read on a future issue of Proceedings.

Mere “ratings” (out of five stars) are anonymous. Written “reviews” will display your Apple username.

On an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, rate and review using the Apple Podcasts application.

On Windows, rate and review using iTunes, as follows. (N.B.: This will require creating an Apple ID, if you do not have one already).

  1. If not already installed, download and install iTunes.
  2. Click here to open Proceedings in iTunes. (If that link does not work, start iTunes, click Store, type sisyphian in the Search field, press Enter, and, in the Podcasts section, click Proceedings of the Sisyphian Society.)
  3. Click Ratings and Reviews.
  4. To rate only, click on the desired star rating. To rate and review, click Write a Review, enter a title for your review, click on the desired star rating, write a review, and click Submit. In either case, if not already logged in, you will be asked to log in to your Apple account.

B. On Stitcher.

Although Apple Podcasts is the more-influential directory, listeners are encouraged to review the podcast in the Stitcher directory as well. Doing so does not require a Stitcher account. (And if you already wrote a review for Apple Podcasts/iTunes anyway, you can simply copy and paste it to Stitcher.)

Again, your review will likely be read on a future issue of Proceedings.

  1. On a desktop or laptop computer, go to the podcast’s Stitcher page.
  2. Scroll down to “Show Ratings and Reviews”.
  3. Click Write a review and follow the instructions. N.B.: Kyle confirmed with Stitcher that the email address you provide is used only to send you a single confirmation email. You will not be subscribed to any mailing lists.
  4. Check your email inbox for a message from Stitcher, and click the link therein to confirm the review. It might take several days for the review to appear.

4. Correspond.

The success of the Society’s endeavors depends upon the cooperation and peer-review of listeners. Please correspond with the Society to correct errors, contribute your expertise, or provide general feedback of any kind.
